    When you visit the Company’s website, we process and store various types of temporary data. This includes the connection data of the requesting computer, the web pages you access on our site as well as the date and duration of the visit. Furthermore, we ascertain the identification data of the web browser being used and the type of operating system as well as the website from which you are visiting us. Personal data such as your name, your address, telephone number or email address is only collected if you submit this information voluntarily in line with a registration, a survey or a request for information.

    The Company solely uses the personal data you provide for purposes relating to the technical administration of the website, services, customer management, for product-related surveys and for marketing to the extent required for this.

    The legal basis for the processing of your personal data depends on the underlying purpose for the data processing.

    Technical administration of the website
    Legal basis for the processing of personal data for the aforementioned purpose is art. 6 sec. 1 lit. b of the GDPR, insofar as we have a contractual relationship with you. If you do not have a contractual relationship with the Company, the legal basis for data processing is art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f of the GDPR. The transmission of personal data (e.g. the IP address) is required to establish the connection as well as to display the content on the web page.

    Legal basis for the processing of personal data for the aforementioned purpose is art. 6 sec. 1 lit. b of the GDPR. We render our services in line with the fulfilment of contractual obligations. We cannot fulfil or implement the contract with you without processing personal data.

    Google Analytics
    Legal basis for the processing of personal data in line with the use of Google Analytics is art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f of the GDPR. We require statistical information on the use of our online services, to be able to design them in a more user-friendly manner, to measure reach and do market research.

  6. Transfer of data

    There is no transfer of your personal data to third parties, unless this is necessary for contract processing or you have given your explicit consent. For instance, it may be necessary to transfer your address and order information to your wholesale partner for orders. Insofar as we engage external service providers, these are diligently selected and pursuant to art. 28 of the GDPR, obligated to comply with all data protection regulations.

  7. Use of cookies

    Cookies are used on some our web pages. Cookies are small text files, which are stored on your computer, when you visit our website. These allow us to design our website in a more customised manner for the users. The data a cookie uses, such as an access password for instance, is stored on your computer.     The buttons are marked with the logo of the respective social network. However, these are not the customary social plugins but buttons with embedded links. Not until you click on the buttons and in doing so, consent to the communication with the servers of the social network, do the buttons become active and the connection is established.

    By activating the button, the social networks then also receive, inter alia, the information that and when you accessed the respective page on our website; furthermore, e.g. your IP address, information regarding the browser used and the language settings. We solely us this data to send the requested information and to document your consent. You can revoke your consent given to store the data, the email address as well as to use it to send the newsletter at any time and with effect for the future, e.g. using the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter.

  10. Google Analytics (statistical analysis/tracking)

    We require statistical information on the use of our online services, to be able to design them in a more user-friendly manner, to measure reach and do market research. We use the web analysis tools described in this section for this purpose. Google Analytics is provided by the Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). This analysis software is configured in compliance with data protection laws. In particular, we use Google Analytics with the additional function offered by Google for the anonymisation of IP addresses. In this connection, the IP address is usually already truncated by Google within the EU and only first in the USA in exceptional cases and at any rate, only stored in this truncated form. The Company takes appropriate technical as well as organisational security measures, to protect your personal data against data loss, alteration, destruction and against access by unauthorised persons or unauthorised disclosure. Our security measures are continuously improved in accordance with technological developments.

  12. Duration of data storage

    We basically store your data as long as this is required to provide our online offers and the services associated with this or we have a legitimate interest in the further storage (e.g. we can still have a legitimate interest in postal marketing after fulfilling a contract). The data is erased after the legal or contractual retention periods (e.g. retention periods in accordance with tax and commercial laws) have lapsed. Data, which is not subject to retention obligations, is erased after the described purpose limitation no longer applies.

  22. Establishing contact

    When contacting us (via email, telephone or via social media): No phone calls are recorded. Emails are kept in the inbox „gdpr@ingersoll-imc.de“ for 30 days and then erased. If contact is established via social media, the enquiries are also erased there after 30 days.

  23. Integration of third-party services and content
